Ingredients

7 oz / 200 g feta cheese (block, not pre-crumbled)

5 oz / 140 g roasted red peppers (jarred and drained, or homemade)

12 red chili peppers (adjust to taste)

1 ½ tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tbsp red wine vinegar (or lemon juice)

1 garlic clove

Optional Garnish:

Crumbled feta

Fresh parsley

Red pepper flakes

Extra drizzle of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Blend the ingredients:
In a small food processor, combine feta cheese, roasted red peppers, olive oil, vinegar, garlic, and one chili pepper.
    Blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. Adjust the heat:
Taste the dip and, if you’d like it spicier, add the second chili pepper and blend again.

  3. Serve:
Transfer to a serving bowl. Top with crumbled feta, parsley, a sprinkle of chili flakes, and a drizzle of olive oil.

  4. Enjoy:
Serve immediately with warm pita bread, crunchy chips, or fresh veggies.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, remove the chili seeds before blending.
  • Add 1 tbsp of Greek yogurt for a creamier and slightly tangier version.
  • The dip tastes even better after sitting in the fridge for an hour—allowing the flavors to blend.
  • Serving suggestion: Pair with Greek salad, olives, tzatziki, or grilled halloumi fries for a complete Mediterranean spread.
