Description

These Grinch Fruit Kabobs are a healthy, no-bake Christmas treat made with fresh fruit and mini marshmallows. They’re fun, festive, and perfect for both kids and adults who want a light snack during the holiday season. With their bright colors and sweet fruit layers, these kabobs are a creative way to bring the Grinch’s charm to your Christmas table — without the sugar overload.

Whether you’re hosting a classroom party, planning a festive brunch, or simply want to make snack time more magical, these kabobs are quick, adorable, and irresistibly good.

Ingredients

12 green grapes (washed and dried)

12 banana slices (about 1 banana, cut into 1/2-inch slices)

12 fresh strawberries (hulled and trimmed flat at the top)

12 mini marshmallows (for the hat top)

12 toothpicks or small skewers

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit:
Wash the grapes and strawberries thoroughly. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Slice the tops off the strawberries so they sit flat on the banana slices. Cut a banana into 12 thick, even slices.

  2. Assemble the kabobs:

    • Start with a green grape at the bottom — this represents the Grinch’s head.

    • Add a banana slice on top of the grape to form the brim of the hat.

    • Place a strawberry (pointed side up) to create the red hat.

    • Finish with a mini marshmallow on top for the fluffy pom-pom.

  3. Serve and enjoy:
Arrange the kabobs on a platter or tray. Serve immediately, or store covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

💡 Tip: To prevent the bananas from browning, lightly brush the slices with lemon juice or pineapple juice before assembling.

Notes

  • These Grinch Fruit Kabobs are best enjoyed the same day for maximum freshness.
  • Use firm, ripe fruit — overripe bananas or mushy grapes can slide off the toothpicks.
  • Serve on a festive platter with other Healthy Christmas Treats for a colorful holiday display.
  • Add a small bowl of yogurt or whipped cream for dipping if you want a fun twist for kids.
