Ingredients
6 cups milk (whole or reduced-fat; oat milk works for dairy-free)
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the milk, chocolate chips, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla in a slow cooker. Stir well to mix.
- Cover and cook on Low for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate has fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Whisk one last time to ensure an even texture.
- Ladle directly into mugs and serve warm.
Notes
- Stir occasionally during cooking to prevent chocolate from sticking to the sides.
- Adjust sweetness to taste by using less sweetened condensed milk or mixing in dark chocolate chips.
- Keep the slow cooker on Warm if serving over an extended period.
