Description

Unleash the rich, Mediterranean flavors of this Baked Feta and Spinach Dip — a creamy, golden, and utterly irresistible appetizer that’s perfect for any gathering. Each bite combines the tanginess of feta with smooth cream cheese, fresh spinach, and aromatic herbs, creating a dip that’s as satisfying as it is simple to make.

Ingredients

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)

½ cup mayonnaise

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1½ teaspoons Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon onion powder

8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled

10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

For serving:

Pita chips

Toasted baguette slices

Crackers or fresh veggies

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a 9-inch baking dish or casserole pan.

  • Mix the creamy base.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Parmesan, garlic, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and onion powder. Stir until smooth and well blended.

  • Add feta and spinach.
Crumble the feta cheese into the mixture, then fold in the drained spinach. Mix gently until everything is evenly distributed.

  • Bake until golden.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is bubbling and lightly golden brown.

  • Serve and enjoy!
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Pair with pita chips, toasted bread, or veggie sticks.

Notes

  • Use fresh spinach: You can replace frozen spinach with about 10 ounces of fresh spinach. Simply sauté until wilted, drain, and chop before adding.
  • Customize your dip: Stir in extras like roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, or chopped sun-dried tomatoes for a flavor twist.
  • Make it ahead: Prepare the mixture up to a day in advance. Cover and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Reheat easily: Leftovers can be microwaved in short bursts or reheated in the oven at 350°F until warm.
  • For extra spice: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce before baking.
